Hoops News Updated

Edit-6/2/09 7am
Sometimes when Tulane doesnt sign a player - we as fans think it is "the coaches fault" for not getting the player. In the case of Brandon Moore - from what I hear, he is a good ball player with size, but he prefers and plays more outside than he does inside - and Brandon is believed to be thinking heavily on that. Of Course Tulane does NOT need another person on the outside on what will be a guard heavy team. So using the last scholly on a big man that does not play big may not be wise. If we dont get Brandon, it may be b/c we dont feel he is the right fit, not b/c the staff didnt try hard enough.

I also think that Isiah will tell a kid "whatever he wants to hear" to get them to campus - but has no intentions of being held to his word. Isiah is most likely "over-recruiting", and it will come back to bite him with unhappy kids.

another thing is this, Brandon is said to have some, lets say -spunk to his attitude. Tulane likes him, liked him a lot more a year ago then they do now - and his attitude may play a role in how much the Wave really want him. FIU is the leader at about a 60-40 ratio - for Brandon. For others in his life - they are about 80-20 Tulane.

Does Brandon want to come to Tulane, and better yet - does Tulane want Brandon? Do the hoops skills out weigh the personality faults? Is it just a young man being a young man - cocky or confident in his skills?
We know Tulane may Need him, but can the youngster show some maturity to his came while making noise for the local crowd...... We will hear soon enough!
