Because they are in on a bunch of good players, you've got to commit early or
you won't be a part of Tulane's class. Especially when you know they want 1 or 2
from a particular position.
It is not easy to have the opportunity to receive:
1) a great academic opportunity
2) great atmosphere and place to go to school
3) a super athletics staff to develp you
4) football opportunity-conference that has 6 bowl tie-ins,
opportunity to play anybody, anywhere, in the dome, on ESPN
5) great relationships in the locker room with your future
team-mates
6) not getting usurped by junior-college transfers in to the
program
7) Play in a city where all your homies want to come and see you
play
Can only take about 19 or 20 this year-they better get in
quick."
